There is funding by the government for some people, but there is a criteria that you have to meet to get the funding. If you are over the age of 19 then unfortunately you don’t meet their requirements so you will have to fund for the functional skills courses yourself or you can look at apprenticeships programmes to see if they will help fund the course.
