We offer a variety of resources to help students pass their online Maths exam (which will be Ofqual regulated), below we will be covering these resources, as well as how to access them. What we will be covering:
Pre-Assessments
The Pre-Assessments are tests designed around what subjects appear in the main Maths exam that test how proficient you are in the individual maths subjects. This gives you a good idea of what your strengths and weaknesses are. Which can be used to plan revision to help maximise time before the exam date and avoid revising subjects you already know.
Practice Papers
The Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Practice Papers are a set of 20 papers, which will be formatted in the same way as the actual exam. This will give you a good idea of what to expect on the exam, and will be delivered to your home so there is no need for a printer or computer. The marking scheme for the papers is also provided and will allow you to go through the papers to see where you are going wrong and what you can do to improve.
Past Papers
The Functional Skills Past Papers are our most popular resources. This is mainly because the content of the papers is close to what is on the actual Maths exam, making it an invaluable revision tool. It includes a video that goes through the different solutions for the questions on the papers, so if you are struggling you can get some assistance. It also comes in both paper and online form, so it is very flexible and you can do them however you wish.
Note: Other resources from different exam boards are still useful regardless of what Maths exam you are taking. However please remember that the maths qualification was reformed in 2019. So old papers before then are not going to be useful.
